2016-2017 Winter Reminders

Yes, as we've all noticed, winter is here. Reminders are in order for all of us for both the safety and the convenience of all residents. Let's make it a joyous season to remember fondly, not regret.

The 2015-2016 winter season is still fresh in our minds. It was a tough one for homeowners, commuters, and snow plowers. We had reports of ice dams on roofs severe enough to cause roof leaks, residents careening off our steep street embankments, vehicles unable to stop and sliding onto Springhill Road, drivers unable to make it up our steep streets from Springhill Road, and plowers unable to remove slush that had turned to ice overnight. We have tried to address some of these issues this year and are providing reminders and hints to help make things better this year.
